In fact I just looked 2 mins ago and 12th was available for £5, and then literally a second later it wasn't - very hit or miss!

I have always received an email immediately. I don't bother open them as I print the confrimation page as soon as payment has been taken.

I just read on the website that there's a limit of 1 night booking per person?!?!? I saw that Martin has said otherwise on the weekly email and some people here have booked more than one night in one booking. I just hope that no one has problems because of that!

I just tried to book and after pressing confirm for the payment got a blank white screen and no confirmation email.

Did your booking go through? It does say on their webpage that it can take 24 hours.

I managed to get 18/19 jan after refreshing for 5 mins, dont mind taking own towels or even for price pay for extras when we get nearer the date. I got a white screen but just left it and it went onto confirmation page, email came pretty much straight after that. Now just waiting to see if can get a couple of cheap train tickets.

you have to travel before 1st dec 2012 on that deal

Tried to book again this morning after waiting 24 hours as their website advises. Didn't get any £5 rooms but did get 3 nights for less that £70 with a few addons so very pleased with that! :j

2 friends booked the £5 rooms and went to Edinburgh on their trips last month. Both loved the hotel, its location, the rooms, they were very impressed, and reckon its brilliant value for money even at the standard pre-pay rate of from £25 per night.
