My changeover to the Blue +Price tariff should have gone through on October 1, but didn't. A quick call to customer services (and I didn't even have to hold for a minute) sorted it out - I was told they've seen quite a few changes done online not go through.
My next billing date shows as May 2013, I joined them in May 2011, so it must be an annual thing. However, I still had a bill generated when I gave readings a few days ago.

    Edit:
The links from my messages does just bring up blank screens. I usually read them in my inbox rather than the EDF site though.
Systems are not one of EDF's strengths!

How do you get them to send the messages to your inbox? All I get to my inbox is a message to say I have a message and to log in to view the message but when I do I just get a blank page.

Really annoying as I've only just joined and worried they'll take money out my account when I'm not expecting it. And phoning them is a nightmare as they always seem to be experiencing high call volumes, I'm on hold right now. Don't know what I've let myself in for as I never had any problem with Eon, Npower or British Gas.

Sorry, you're right. It's just that the confirmation of switching to Blue +Price promise was complete and didn't require logging in. However, bills are just an email telling you to log in and read the detail. Incidentally, it works now.

I got almost straight through to a human (less than a minute on hold) when I called at 8am the other morning.
They have always notified me well in advance if they've been planning to increase my DD amount. That's when I've had to get on the phone to get them to cancel the adjustment, which I've never really had a problem with them agreeing to, but I was paying enough anyway.
