Afternoon all,

Sorry, OT, but does any kind soul out there remember what the awesome cough medicine is called from Boots?

I've had this bug for over a week, cough getting worse. If I'm honest, it's probably an infection, but I'd rather try to sort it myself without pestering my doc. TIA

It wasn't a typical email from Asda. There was some very personal stuff involved. I'm saying nothing about that. Sorry.
If people want to call me "silly" and indicate me a liar then carry on doing so. It's very easy to contend with when you know 100% that you are in the right. I recieved a very long email today which was very detailed and personal in content. It was an also an apology giving an explanation from their side of what the situation was. I quoted a paragraph from that email verbatim. Anyone smart enough may have noted the type and size of print of that paragraph was different to my own. I thought I was contributing but if people just want to snipe then do me a favour and put me on your ignore list.

A different font? in a different size?
Hi this is ASDA, stop robbing us, you scamming gits...

I never meant it to come across that you are a liar if thats how it looked ,I said not going back to check my exact words that it was a strange/strong word for them to use. Then when I read it again I came to the conclusion rightly or wrongly that it was aimed at photoshoppers out there. When I said something along the lines of dont know if it is true/right etc I dont.
I wouldnt put any personal info up either

Thanks for that Mhoc. Have to admit, in the past, i've always done whoopsies on their own incase it interferred, but wanted to save some time tonight, as the earlier that I get home, the earlier I can have a drink!

Tonight, i'm going to split my usual shop (researched with the help of mysupermarket) into two (just incase I get some nice APG's). Then have a separate basket for any whoopsies.

Thanks again.

Woopsies in A dont compair if the are things like meat and veg etc end of sel fresh produce but end of line reduced items do it is in the T&C's

5. Any items carrying a "Whoops" label in ASDA will be excluded from the ASDA Price Guarantee as these are store specific discounts on damaged or short date coded items.

That's it now, from now on to me you will always be Lowcarb! :rotfl: Though I suppose I do see you as more of a meat than a muesli type of a guy :D.

Morning peeps!

:rotfl::rotfl: I have been called worse!!!:D

Had my response from HQ. Small part of it says:

"With the Asda Price Guarantee vouchers, we have been having some issues with duplication and also with customers who’ve developed a way of scamming using the Asda Price Guarantee vouchers. This is why the stores have been briefed on carrying out extra checks on APG vouchers to make sure they’re legitimate."

......so no memo then??

I have seen something similar to the above but Not quite the same as "all branches to hassle APG customers as much as possible" below tho!
From reading the posts over the past couple of days I get the impression that ASDA have sent a memo to all branches to hassle APG customers as much as possible.

Thank you.. I did actually read that.. but was confused as to whether or not a whoopsie could count as one of your fillers.. thanks again for helping out.. I appreciate it.
