Dunno why people are bothered about being on an ignore list to be honest. Better to have them ignore you than the alternative - arguments, digs, snide remarks, insults, and just general unpleasantness usually. Without ignore lists, I'm sure this thread would be far more contentious.

Has anyone submitted and received back a TPP in the last 24 hours?

Have put a couple in but got nothing back.

Actually a good question, I am still waiting for my one and only receipt from the 10th. I re- entered it this afternoon and got 3 more to do.

TPPs are so variable it drives you demented waiting for them to come back :rotfl:

It is due to a combination of bad weather and clever dolphins.

It was announced this morning that 12 cove guardians had been arrested. All their equipment has been confiscated. This is due to the publicity they are causing. It too late now in my opinion.

Also some dolphins were flown into Heathrow, onward bound somewhere. Its disgusting letting them land in this country. I am now in the process of emailing the Pm on this issue.

Great news on the Blue Cove Jamsponge but not good about the planes carrying captured dolphinss landing here   Will be pm-ing the PM later ;)

Great news about your BFs job Czerniacha :j :j and lovely to see you posting Celebrate

Hugs to Magicowen after your dream, but it did sound lovely too. Enjoy your horseriding this afternoon

Sorry but just got to say I don't actually believe you got that email, not at all worded like an A's email.Absolutely no way they would use the word scamming!

Does not sound like the typical email from Asda

Anyway, I am off to Asda now with friend to spot some rtc items :j

I emailed a couple of hours after the event on 10/10 customer.services@asda.co.uk but still haven't receved a reply.

    dx

You need to email again and copy in andy.clarke@asda.co.uk (the CEO) you WILL get a response to that (I did ;) ) it wont be from Andy clarke himself it would be from the high level complaints dept.

Add to your complaint about the lack of a reply to your first email and lay it on about the "happy to help" as I said earlier.

As others have said, phoning would help, even if you do start to cry again. Alternatively go into the store and ask to speak to the manager (and I do mean the manager, not an assistant or a section manager) and dont leave until you get to speak to them.

If it was a store anywhere near me I'd happily come with you and use that voucher for you.

Please dont let them get away with treating you like that.

Ok someone has to ask so it might as well be me. If anyone is in sada and finding the reduced 2p items :T can they please report back with full descriptions and the ends of the barcodes.

Including the durex :D - do these have a use by date?

(with my sore lip, scab nose and sneezing and the odd smell from the body lotion I am trialing I dont think even my OH loves me enough to get that close :rotfl:)

I've started a sada bargain list, might venture out later. We ar ehome along parents again this weekend, very depressing

  • Had my response from HQ. Small part of it says:

"With the Asda Price Guarantee vouchers, we have been having some issues with duplication and also with customers who’ve developed a way of scamming using the Asda Price Guarantee vouchers. This is why the stores have been briefed on carrying out extra checks on APG vouchers to make sure they’re legitimate."

    ......so no memo then??

Correct no memo about hassling people, only about validating vouchers, you previously said

"From reading the posts over the past couple of days I get the impression that ASDA have sent a memo to all branches to hassle APG customers as much as possible. "

  • Afternoon all,

Sorry, OT, but does any kind soul out there remember what the awesome cough medicine is called from Boots?

    krank01.gif

I've had this bug for over a week, cough getting worse. If I'm honest, it's probably an infection, but I'd rather try to sort it myself without pestering my doc. TIA

Hi Plushchris, I recognise that name from the R & R days. Hope all's well with you and yours.:D

    Not bad thanks ;)

Dont post so much on here these days, just hate reading about being being treated this badly, I had my share of it during R&R days, these people make you feel like crap and seem to enjoy doing so, they need bringing down a peg or two.

Do all sadas have a daily log book - love to put some nice comments in there, some really helpful shop floor girls out there even if the till girls are a bit unpredictable.

What a load of rubbish, my local's have been fab, I have had 2 troutings but both were very pleasant and even though, I met the store manager, he too was very pleasant, told me I was one of his super savvy shoppers, they checked it on the APG system, said thank you, I paid and went.

There are some folks who are re-creating APG's with software programmes, it's because of those, SA's or CS's are questioning if they are real.

I have even put comments in Sada's daily log book asking for them to be Collegue of the month.
