From reading the posts over the past couple of days I get the impression that ASDA have sent a memo to all branches to hassle APG customers as much as possible.
Well it didnt go to my nearest stores if they did.

    Thank you for your support.

I haven't the energy to use my other Asda coupon... it runs out on 15th October.

Since posting on here I have thought back over the event and I am now horrified that no one intervened.
    I was clearly upset.

I now remember the 'frog marcher' saying to the lady at customer service desk... " Watch her, she hasn't paid for her shopping" as she turned round and pointed at me.
This comment was loud enough for the nearby shoppers to hear and naturally everyone looked at me.

It was at this point that I felt that I needed to empty all my pockets and bags onto the customer service desk to prove that I hadn't stolen anything.

I can't phone customer service Head office as I will cry again. My husband is home atm as he is working nights and I don't want him to know what happened as I feel ashamed.

Thank you for letting me off load....

    dx

Chief executive of Asda is Andy Clarke, fire off an email, did you take names, the c/o identification will be on the reciept anyhow. andy.clarke@asda.co.uk one of the big chief customer service executives will reply and will indeed take action, believe these guys mean business. If you don't they will harass you in the store, you let them know who the boss is they will cower when they see you.... Chin up chuck....

    a) it went to mine!
    !
It didnt, you just caught a trout with a bad temper, they really detest us getting stuff for nowt, I have a pet trout in a store I use, if I'm in a hurry I avoid her, if I have time I use her till, I delight in her grimaces (cruel I know), if I really want to finesse it I use the next till and watch her boiling as her colleague cheerily chats to me - thats my favourite.

What a load of rubbish, my local's have been fab, I have had 2 troutings but both were very pleasant and even though, I met the store manager, he too was very pleasant, told me I was one of his super savvy shoppers, they checked it on the APG system, said thank you, I paid and went.

There are some folks who are re-creating APG's with software programmes, it's because of those, SA's or CS's are questioning if they are real.

I have even put comments in Sada's daily log book asking for them to be Collegue of the month.

Where are you ? We must be two of the lucky few to have a decent ASDA.
Having said that most people where I live are pretty decent sorts.
