One time had a largish APG to use and the supervisor was called, she started to say loudly that someone was faking them, studying my receipt closely & questioning how I could get that much etc, at this point my OH arrived, said is there a problem ladies? [produces iphone] hope you don't mind me recording this conversation to go with the CCTV footage your HO will be able to view? Ahh the satisfaction, such sweet revenge..Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

Disappointed that my chocolate shop didn't work. Don't really want to give them as presents now as they didn't glitch and wouldn't know what to say to ask for refund, so as I have been staring at them all night I have finally given in and opened a box!

I don't usually post here, but dip in and out when I can, as I have been caring for my elderly parents. Dad has recently died and mum is very ill atm.
I had some time to myself yesterday as my sister took over for a couple of hours. I had an APG £10.08 to spend and a Reloaded coupon so I went to a bigger Asda about 5 miles from home.
I left the Asda store in tears and deeply upset.
At the checkout I handed over my 2 coupons to the assistant. She looked at the Reloaded coupon and accused me of photocopying it.
I explained that I was sent the coupon, by email, as I 'liked' a product on Face book.
She continued to accuse me of handing over a photo copy so I replied that I didn't need the Reloaded and asked if she could take it off my bill, which she did. I was calm and polite and smiley.
She then looked at the coupon from the Asda price promise web site and started to accuse me of faking or forging the coupon.
She called over another member of staff and I was frog marched to the customer service desk.
I was told that there was something wrong with the Asda coupon and that the manager had to be called.
By this time I was really embarrassed as everyone was looking at me.
I tried to explain that I had followed the instructions from the TV advert and that I had printed out the voucher that was sent.
There was a lot of fussing and muttering, loads of phone calls but the manager couldn't be found.Quite a few other members of staff had become involved.
I was being accused of altering the apg to increase its value.
I felt so upset of being accused of this ,that I emptied my pockets and shopping bags to prove that I hadn't stolen anything.
I felt so humiliated and upset I simply couldn't stop myself from crying.
Eventually a member of staff managed to contact someone at head office , by phone, and they were told that the Asda coupon was fine.
My shopping bill was retrieved, the Asda coupon used and the balance of the bill paid by cash.
Even though I was sobbing throughout the transaction there was no apology or explanation.
This event has completely spoilt my day. I can't believe that Asda staff can treat people like this.
I was publicly humiliated and embarrassed.
I emailed Asda head office when I got home but as yet haven't received a reply.
I have one more APG £8.xx to use but I don't think I will bother.

Sorry to hear about what happened to you. I had a bad trouting a month ago and even though I have been back to to the store I still feel upset about it....but go back anyway as they had no right to treat me in the way they did. They would not listen to what I was saying and would not phone up head office to verify my apg. I phoned up the 0800 number (sometime after) and they sent a £30 gift card and bunch of flowers.0 -

I thought they would ask questions if I took 3 boxes back. I used an apg so had to pay £2.11 cash.0
