Yes, isn't it nice of the lurkers, newbies and first time buyers to desert us in droves after all the help they were given now the APG glitch is over!!:(
I am a newbie and am still around.I haven't posted much as I have had this awful cough/ sore throat/ fluey/ sickness thing that's going round. I've had it for 10 days now and I'm still waking up in the night coughing and feeling really weak.
I have a low white blood count so find these bugs tend to drag on.
I've been mainly lurking on my mobile so it's hard for me to post much as it's so fiddly, though I have been pressing the thanks button when I can.
My lovely OH has been out and bought me some toilet roll & wipes so a big thanks to everyone who posted about them. :jHi again. Just posting the pic I promised earlier, then shower and bed, as I've got a long day at work tomorrow.
Wow beautiful photo! :T Almost looks like an oil painting? Thanks for posting. So I have been on Tramadol for 2 weeks now and they have brought on a bout of Cystitis. I am in agony:(
I am drinking cranberry juice and lots of water. Also had some bicarb soda mixed with my cranberry juice this morning and was nearly sick lol.
Anything else I could try before going to the docs?
Oh hun, I've never had Cystitis but I've been told it's incredibly painful.I would go see the docs if you can? I think they tell you to drink lots of water, but they might be able to give you something else to help? So horrible to get something painful like that when you are in pain anyway? Big hugs & I hope you feel better soon? x

My mum bought a lappy a couple of weeks ago from Adsa and I think there must be something wrong with it.
It is so slow it's unreal
10 mins to boot up
takes a minute to get results from google etc, where I just checked mine and it's 0.1 seconds
takes 5 mins to shut down.
My uncle set it up for her so don't know if it's anything he's done.
should I wipe it and start again or just take it back to A's ?
Not sure but I think it's this one, deffo a Dell
http://direct.asda.com/Dell-M5040-15.6ins-Laptop---AMD-Brazos---320GB-Hard-Drive/000545846,default,pd.html
i bought a Dell Inspiron last year and its great...then my dad decided he wanted one, but a bit cheaper..so he bought the same as your mums above...its shocking!! He's always ringing me up to get me to tell him how to get it to do something or work faster (dont know why he rings me as I know nothing apart from - reboot seems to solve most problems!!)... he was so disappointed in it but never got round to exchanging it...he's had it a year now and so wont do anything about it now, but he wishes he'd bought a different one.
When I bought mine from that reputable shop Mr T :rotfl::rotfl:, after 6 weeks the hard drive failed...4 months later the touchpad died....but after having it repaired both times its really a good lappie!!
The engineer who came out to repair it both times told me Dell are notorious for problems and despite being a well known brand, are probaby not the best to buy....:rotfl:bit late to tell me at that stage though!
If your Mum's not had it long, I would suggest running the Dell Problem scanner thingy, which detects any problems with the laptop....then if there is, phone Dell and ask them to repair it free...they tried to charge me, and wanted to take it off me for 10 days to repair it....I refused saying that wasnt good enough...so they came out the next day on both counts, free of chargehoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
Jamsponge you really should pop to the doctors as you are already taking a medication that can have side effects. Did not want to worry you but it is one of the side effects of your meds that you should seek medical attention for just to be on the safe side. xx0

Morning all,
I feel absolutely rotten this morning. Freezing cold, glands like golf balls and the achiest legs! I'm not a happy bunny as I have to go to work to see if cover is available rather than calling in sick which is what I really want to do. My oldest dog is poorly as well which is more worrying g as she's normally such a happy girl and she's just curled up on the couch with my youngest pup cuddled in to her. I don't know who to feel most sorry for!
Hopefully I'll get cover at work and be back to catch up later but if not have a great day everyone.
Oh poor you. A lot of us have had this bug and its a really nasty one. That's how mine started, very sore throat & glands up.
I hope you get to stay at home & rest. x
I hope your dog is feeling better soon aswell. It's getting really damp & cold out now isn't it and I think it's affecting a lot of us?
Does your dog have a thick coat? Do you think she would like a little coat when she goes out for her walks? My two dogs are both short coated and don't particularly like wearing a coat, but I put one on my old girl when its really cold out just to protect her a bit.
Anyway, I hope you get to cutch up on the sofa together and feel better soon.

I can never find the small £1 one:(but I've still got a lot of car coupons left so using one of them with the mag coupon so the £2 bottle is free:TBut If you can't find the £1 bottles they have some other bottles which are £1.50 so you'd have to pay 50p for them:eek::eek::eek:;)
The small £1 Lenor is not with all the other fabric conditioners but more with the liquid detergent, took me a while to find it. Also I can only find it in the local superstores and not the big extras.Born to glitch0
