Kimb Clarke have been really good seeing as its mr T that messed it all up with their systems etc, but then I remember a while back they had the huggies boxes with vouchers with no barcodes on and when we called about those they sent out replacement vouchers for any product just like now. So good company who like to protect their rep i think.

Yes, I went in 2006 and enjoyed it very much despite being really ill. The northern lights were a let down - seen better at home. We went on a 4x4 tour which involved driving on a glacier and then on to skidoos to a wooden hut burried under snow for hot chocolate :D
I agree about the lights westie. I got a breathtaking view from RAF Kinloss when I lived there as a youngster. Far better than anything we saw in iceland

Having an eating problem this morning, as in I'm eating too much! I've just made my best ever banana loaf and have somehow managed to eat over half of it on my own! It is just so nice, I've never made one like it!

Hi Nat have you got the receipe please. I used to make banana and walnut but lost my receipe and yours sounds lush.

Yes, isn't it nice of the lurkers, newbies and first time buyers to desert us in droves after all the help they were given now the APG glitch is over!!:(

Perhaps they have all gone to spend their APGs , I've used 1 apg tonight, then 5 shops at Mr T, sadly it appears the choc a block ends tomorrow, but as all the magazines have gone from my local, I'm not that bothered.

I picked up a couple of the Ariel stain remover sprays @£2 using the £1.50 voucher and a £1 car voucher, then got a till spit for £2 off Ariel stain remover :rotfl: which works with the other 2 vouchers for the same product.

Anyone been to Iceland, would be interested to here what it's like ? Thinking of a trip there with family. Like the sound of the hot pools and northern lights x
We spent 4 weeks in Iceland a few yeas ago and heartily recommend it!
We toured all the way around the island camping and had several trips into the interior. Places you must go:

Myvatn nature baths - so much better than the blue lagoon, which is just runoff from the power plant. Myvatn baths are proper "just coming out of the ground hot springs" water. When we went, in July it snowed a bit while we were swimming which was great.
Askja, a crater in the interior filled with bluey coloured water, which was a bit too cold to swim in, but you can swim in the crater next to it.
Climb a glacier, loads to choose from. We went snowmobiling on Vatnajokull, great fun.
Jokulsarlon, the mini iceberg filled lake, just West of Vatnajokull. They filmed scenes from tomb Raider and James Bond there. Take a boat trip around the icebergs, which is a bit touristy but fun.(just west of here there is an unsignposted lake, but you'll see it on your map, which is a bit less grand than Jokullsarlon, but you can see the icebergs too, and if you are lucky an iceberg being calved from the glacier).

There's loads of touristy things around Reykjavik like waterfalls and the Thingvellir national park. I'm happy to give ideas if you let me know what sort of stuff you want to do.

    It's only a game
