  • My shops done at 10pm yesterday evening have compared. I've got a voucher capped at £15 and one at £13.76. I entered the receipt details in for the first time today. This is really odd.
    Were yours poo shops?

I thought people would start to go crazy... Its over.. I said hammer it. I for 1 will keep shopping at asda. Everytime u bought a shop you risked it. If its come back as n/a just think of the other stuff you got for near free.

  • Thank you for the tidying upof my messy receipts!

Looks like they’ve just takenthe easy way out and all our glitch items are N/A now. I don’t really think that they can get awaywith it since it’s obvious the items aren’t N/A. Kinda makes the price guarantee worthlessreally…

Then again I am absolutelychuffed! In the last 2 weeks of finding thisthread I accumulated more cleaning products than I know what to do with (hubbyasked me if I ever going to use any of those or if I just plan to accumulatethem – the cheek!), we have cereal to last us for a couple of months, the RSPAwas very grateful for the dog and cat food we took there at the weekend, toothpastes for years to come, toothbrushes for the Christmas shoeboxes we alsostarted at the weekends and vitamins to keep us going until the next glitch! And then there are potentially a couple of BSdiffusers coming which will make lovely teacher’s presents. On top of this, Ihave thoroughly enjoyed reading (most) of this thread and how helpful andencouraging people were when help was needed. I shall definitely stick around if nobody minds …..

When people report that their's have worked or not can we say whether the shop was done yesterday or today, and also who you've been compared to?

My Waitrose shop from 9pm last night did not compare - all came back n/a

Maybe we can spot a pattern?

I'm properly gutted it's over because i just (2 mins ago) found the pears shower gel. All this time I was looking in the shower gel section but its in with the soaps! D'oh!

Thanks to Mr A for all the fantastic savings

Here's looking forward to the next glitch. It's just a womble away ;)

  • This will be very damaging for Asda if they are putting down comparable items items as not available in other supermarkets it makes a total mockery of the Asda Price Guarantee and the 10% cheaper price promise.

Tescos will be loving this as will Morrisons both haters of APG and both who wanted it stopped. Looks like this will be a victory for them.

I have no doubt that Tesco's at least will cash in on Asda now misleading their customers promising to be 10% cheaper on comparable items when at the moment their not!!!

    Tesco's waiting for an announcement?????

Except that as posted by Sqigs A's are quite within their rights to do this as its in their T & C's

Sounds like what they mentioned recently about making things easier, i suspect you'll be able to scan the barcode via the phone apps with an update.
