Something similar happened to me on Monday. The reduced milk I was buying had a barcode that had got a bit soggy, it came up as £827.31

I just got it voided off though, was so busy sweating about my APG...

    Morning!

Just spent a few hours re-organising my stash, was clearing up downstairs and was suddenly incredibly thankful I HADN'T sat on the floor to sort through my washing, because out of nowhere crawls the most MAHOOOOOSIVE spider :eek::eek:

Now, my house is not one for getting big spiders usually, and I realised it must have been there for a couple of days at least as I haven't had any doors or windows open that it could have got in through. Well my vacuum spider catcher thingie is kept upstairs so I had to squish it with a nearby shoe, I certainly wasn't going to let the thing go so I could find it nonchalantly sitting on my shoulder or something while watching telly! I can still see it in my mind's eye and I keep shivering - ewwwwwwww!!!!!!

Well anyway I was sorting stuff out and opened a bag to find that my jar of eucalyptus honey had leaked all over my vitamins/biore ballsed-up Sainsbob's comparable shop. I don't know how it happened, the jar isn't cracked and the lid's on tight  but I'm going to take back the honey and the stuff encased in little boxes (pears soap, the vitamins etc) and ask for a refund (sans receipt, I'll say that was covered in honey too), I'm HOPING I can get a refund by saying I've no time to get replacements thereby getting most of the money back for my ballsed-up shop..........aren't I clever? :rotfl:

    Morning peeps!

Do these hand held scanners actually display a price for an item?
are they are the same as what the dot.com pickers use as i stopped a young chap the other day and asked him to price check some wash powder for me and he told me that his scanner does not display prices.
    was he lying?

The hand-held scanners do show prices, but caught me out last time I used it, some faggots were on the shelf at £1 from £1.50, showed on the scanner at £1.50. Of course I got all excited thinking about free money, but it adjusted it at the till :(

Happy birthday to ms money-penny, and I am delighted to see the cove is blue :T:T
