We have a chap who collects stuff (toiletries, chocolate, pens etc) and I have a box that I put things in that I have collected take it to them. They make boxes up to give out to our boys and girls who cannot get home for Christmas. The stuff is ent out in huge containers - no delivery costs to pay or anything. Might be worth ringing your local army barracks to see if they have a similar scheme.

I also do shoeboxes for Link Romania (you can google it) - sometimes its nicer to give than receive.:):)

Good morning one and all.
Sad to see the glitch seems to be over.

But...I have found this thread and its wonderful people and intend to stick around anyway.
Its made me go back to using Asda, rather than Sains which was closer. I have discovered that smartprice scourers are just fine as are mushy peas:j
I have a lovely stash of cereal, shampoo, Johnsons, cleaning products to keep me going til next year if not longer (esp cleaning - I hate cleaning lol)
I have a box I am going to take to the foodbank
I have discovered the power of MSM and SSM

So thanks to everyone for all their input, and may mini glitches still keep coming:D
