The CEO of Tescos Philip Clarke is live on the BBC at the moment talking about how he is going to revamp their stores. It should be a positive, interesting topic and I am seriously losing the will to live listening to him. The man has had a charisma bypass or something, he is the most boring nerd I have encountered in a long time. God help Tesco if this is the quality of their management.

On a more amusing note he was talking about how people are shopping more using their laptops and their smartphones. I thought, little do you know mate! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Asda have just leaked a report out for this week's trading so far. On the negative side there is a big slump in sales of cereals, shampoo, cleaning, pet food and especially ambrosia pot rice 120g original and chocolate.

On the plus side their actual net profits seem to be rising when the apg figures are included.
