I have no idea when I'll see her again. We've become quite close in the last year so it's going to be tough. I'm really happy for her and I'm completely and utterly jealous but I wish it wasn't for so long
Remember you can skype her and keep in touch by email.....never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -

LiverpoolLad wrote: »Because I buy famous brand items in Asda that are cheaper in other supermarkets I make a list for each store so Tesco, Sainsbury and Waitrose and then just buy each the items on each list in asda and get an apg.
If I want decent fruit and veg I pay the price at Tesco or even Aldi is fantastic quality and cheap prices.
Only occasionally will I add fruit or veg to my asda shopping list if I have to make up 8 different items or I cant be bothered going elsewhere at the time for one or two items.
Again the only time I will buy meat in asda is if I am in a hurry or have an apg to spend.
Have you cooked asdas bacon???? do you see how much water comes out in the cooking process. This is because they swell the bacon with water and use a water retainer on the meat so it weighs more and therefore they make more money out of it.
So in effect a 300gram pack of bacon is actually 150grams of meat. They buy it from the farmers at wholesale screwing the farmers by the way and then make huge mark ups and pretend to be cheap at the same time.
You get what you pay for!!!
Hi Liverpool Lad
I have not seen you post before so welcome. You seem to know quite a bit, are you an ex lurker? Why dont you tell us a bit about yourself and join in the chat. When I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think

Evening all those on the graveyard shift, just back from several hours with the lovely Neosi who kindly fixed "the netbook from hell", big thanks also to Tesco for their hospitality & wifi
Neosi will now be booking a place in The Priory after my antics at Tesco & Asda tills.

He goes to the Daily Mail and other National media gloating about how he made £8000+ worth of shopping out of the sada glitch which incidently I believe was the trigger to the end of the glitch as it provoked a response from Mr Foord the Chief Exec of Mysupermarket and Asda it also made many more people aware of the glitch who started doing it.
While HENLANS was helpful to us all in launching a website telling us all the products we could buy and which supermarkets they compared to this actually only saved us time as you can work out those details for yourself and infact he was also helping mysupermarket in identifying those products aswell all which now come up in the APG as N/A.
HENLANS wanted people to follow him on Twitter and #HENLANS is now gone as is his website HENLANS.CO.UK
He also had a go at a few people on here especially about reprinted APG's where the receipt was not marked by the SA saying it was against the APG T&C's and yet he had over £8000 worth of APG's in 4 weeks saying the £100 max per month didnt happen if you checked your receipts in on your iphone so he was infact breaking the T&CS himself getting APG's worth more than £100 a day.
I know the information he gave helped a few extra people out, be it for a short while anyway but I do strongly feel that had he not blabbered to the Media we would still be enjoying the glitch for a few more weeks so THANKS A LOT HENLANS!!!!!!!
To be honest I actually think he works in Info Tech maybe at Asda, Tesco Waitrose or even mysupermarket or maybe in the media (Grocer, Daily Mail etc)
I have been given a name for him from a trace on his IP for his yahoo and website but maybe its an alias0 -

I disagree. The staff at the little Asda near me are friendly and helpful....mind you, I'm always friendly towards them and I think if you smile and are pleasant to others, they tend to treat you the same.;)
I also disagree about Tesco fruit and veg being any better. I bought some organic apples there last week which were truly revolting...really soft and tasteless. I bought Asda smart price ones this week and they are lovely.
Well you should of took the the apples back to Tesco who would of refunded and replaced them.
If your happy with cheap apples covered in pesticides then thats upto you but theres a big difference in Organic fruit and veg and non Organic.
Organic is not always the best looking or even tasting but it has been grown without chemical fertilisers or pesticides and thats why people buy them.
If you had a blood analysis done you would be surprised I had one done a while back and was amazed at what I was told. They even told me they knew I had had a major trauma earlier in life which I had (i broke both my ankles) they said I had estrogen from cows milk in my blood which is from the non organic milk I had been drinking. Apparently they inject milking cows to make them think they are pregnant so they produce more milk so the cows also produce more estrogen. They also feed chemicals to battery hens to produce more eggs sometimes three each a day. Eating/drinking Organic takes all this away even though it may not look or taste as good.
As for being nice to people I Always AM!
Just ASDA is the equivalent of the Ghetto and they are often located in rough areas and with their inferior cheap products they attract a lot of cheap undesirable people as well as the decent ones.0 -
