If I want decent fruit and veg I pay the price at Tesco or even Aldi is fantastic quality and cheap prices.
Only occasionally will I add fruit or veg to my asda shopping list if I have to make up 8 different items or I cant be bothered going elsewhere at the time for one or two items.
Again the only time I will buy meat in asda is if I am in a hurry or have an apg to spend.
Have you cooked asdas bacon???? do you see how much water comes out in the cooking process. This is because they swell the bacon with water and use a water retainer on the meat so it weighs more and therefore they make more money out of it.
So in effect a 300gram pack of bacon is actually 150grams of meat. They buy it from the farmers at wholesale screwing the farmers by the way and then make huge mark ups and pretend to be cheap at the same time.
You get what you pay for!!!
No i have not, i do not eat bacon bleughhh!!!
Thats a lie: i use to love bacon just recently the smell of it makes me feel sickYou can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in
God created men first, cause you always makes a rough draft before a masterpiece!0 -

I do.....just posted earlier about my bargains tonight. TBH that's was an exceptionally good night, it hit and miss.I usually only get there once a week and usually evenings when it's quiet and there's not much in the way of wombles. Having said that Im usually pushed for time and don't get time to have a really good look.
When are you going? I'll let you know where I found the reduced stuff if it's soon...it was hidden out of the way:D0 -
I am miles behind as usual, just wanted to say that I will be looking out for new multibuy deals in sada as it seems recently that whenever a new deal starts in A's it is slow to get on msm or something and they have been comparing at full price, as proved with the underjams most recently. But this also happened with the head and shoulders when they went on 3 for £10 and the batteries (although not sure it was at start of offer) It's just an idea, and may not always happen but worth a look I think.0

I am sorry to refer back to APG after the circus has left town (it was fun while it lasted
), but have you noticed that their new receipt image in the new bar code version is dated mid August - which suggests that this new bar code based system has been in development for a while rather than a response to the recent glitch? Also the exclusion of Morrisons and Waitrose may be reasonable if there aren't Morrisons and Waitrose in Northern Ireland, so you couldn't shop there anyway without a ferry trip ...?
Just a thought.

Hello everyone
I had a quick lookee at lunchtime and saw apg's were not coming back as expected and seems glitch fixed. Used 2 of mine this evening, 1 on non apg stuff and the other on Roses and Celebrations which are comparing with T's (A 5.00, T 4.00) so hopefully will get a small apg back later.
......................off to catch up

Asos sent people codes as an apology for late delivery or something I believe they were for £10 but worked for everyone with no minimum spend just postage. Could also use more than once with new email addy, they were a great company honoured all the orders.:D0
