Just watching the news, about the missing little girl April Jones. Really do hope that they find her safe quickly. Can not imagine what her family are going through. My heart goes out to them.

am i being thick?
If you shop at tesc0 and waitrose how do you still get an APG to be 10% cheaper?
If I want decent fruit and veg I pay the price at Tesco or even Aldi is fantastic quality and cheap prices.
Only occasionally will I add fruit or veg to my asda shopping list if I have to make up 8 different items or I cant be bothered going elsewhere at the time for one or two items.
Again the only time I will buy meat in asda is if I am in a hurry or have an apg to spend.
Have you cooked asdas bacon???? do you see how much water comes out in the cooking process. This is because they swell the bacon with water and use a water retainer on the meat so it weighs more and therefore they make more money out of it.
So in effect a 300gram pack of bacon is actually 150grams of meat. They buy it from the farmers at wholesale screwing the farmers by the way and then make huge mark ups and pretend to be cheap at the same time.
You get what you pay for!!!0 -

My, it is nice and peaceful here now, hardly recognise the place! Guess I will go back to lucking again now, with the odd visit the the bar for virtual drinks and discussions late on the weekends. Sleep well all.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
