and then I thought 'this is it, I can't do this any more'. I've never been back since.

I know exactly what you mean after being in the same position and coming to the decision - WHY was I giving my time and getting so much grief. But it took quite a while for the 'penny to drop'. I guess this is just one of the stages in life we go through and every one, of these stages, comes to its own natural conclusion?

Thanks for this. I sometimes wonder why I ever thought it was a good idea. I was at a stage of life when I needed something else to do, but this wasn't it.

Just like why has DLA decided I don't need ANY care but was on high rate before. Based there decision on a report from a Doc that gives one or two sentences to questions. Then says no to things when it should be yes. My carer needs to look for work and that puts me in a situation.
I just hope I win the appeal if not will re-apply and re-apply.

This is whats wrong with the system, you need no care yet you got high rate care DLA and that allowed you and your boyfriend to claim income support with huge premiums.

I truely hope that you and others like you are seen as what you are when PIP comes in, if you dont need real care you do not deserve a disability care award.

Where does Bryando say they don't have any care needs?

it is the DWP who have decided this, probably based on one of their HCP's opinions having read the form and having no medical basis what-so-ever for their views. Just like you.

Just like the Nurse who gave an opinion on my original claim, and said that I was taking mild analgesic medication.

What I was actually taking was 150mg of Morphine a day, plus Dihydrocodeine, Duloxetine, and Naproxen.

Needless to say, I felt it was my moral duty to inform the NMC of the fact this particular Nurse was in dire need of further training to understand the difference between mild analgesics and strong opiate medication, to help prevent her from making what was destined to be a devastating error when giving medication to a patient.

The woman from the NHS who was on the panel for my Tribunal was astounded by the comment the Nurse made, and was pleased to hear that I had reported the incident to the NMC.

That's not very nice, is it? How do you know whether Bryando deserves a disability care award? No need to be so unpleasant.

If you took the time to read some of Bryando's earlier posts, or remember him from some time ago, you'd see that he does have care needs. I remember him talking about some of them.

Attacking him because he hasn't given you a long list of his other conditions in this particular post when he is asking about mobility is unfair. And in this case, not only entirely wrong - what you have said in this post can be quite reasonably regarded as abuse.

Where is it suggested Bryando has no care needs other than what was wirtten by DWP?

    Very bad form, sunnyone.
Dear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. I am in crisis and need a supporting hand to keep me on the right and just path. My mind is troubled but I will strive to keep it set on you, as your infinite wisdom will show me the way to a just and right resolution. Amen.

bryando, please please go yo your doctor and insist on an Xray on your lower back and / or hip. You must rule out other problems or end up minus an entire leg (like me) or much worse!!! This matters much more than any benefits, trust me, I know - I'm the one hopping around (and more often falling) on one leg! Sod the benefits, just make sure it's not a life-threatening condition!
