That didn't sound preachy to me at all. It actually came across really caring and hit a few nails too. So thank you for taking the time to put it all together for me. I really appreciate it.

I think you're so right too. I'm quite a gung ho person (irritatingly so at points) and I think that maybe I do push myself a little too hard at times. So again, thank you.

My cunning plan was to let myself work through these feelings rather than suppress and ignore. They're hanging around for a reason despite me trying to pretend otherwise so I think I need to work through what's going on. However, I also need to keep a track of the good stuff too and keep my eye on the goal of why these changes are being made. All these things together should pull me through this low feeling.

Thank you again icontinuetodream. That really helped. xx

My IF account details have finally arrived so I'm going to read through those and send anything off that's required. I also had another NSD yesterday and am forcing the last one on myself today. Then I've reached my goal of 10 through October.

No surveys through yet today. I had 2 yesterday but got bounced out with my initial answers. I have received all of my shop and scan credits though, and my SkyFall credit has been set up too. I still can't believe I got paid to see the latest Bond film! Bring more of those on!

I get paid tomorrow, my new salary, but should be able to log on and see what it will be so that I can get my spreadsheet completely accurate and work out my plan of action again for the month.

Well Monday is done and dusted. Today is looking lovely out. I love mornings like this. I even stopped along London Wall to help out a tourist with directions. It had absolutely nothing to do with how gorgeous he was either!!! Nothing at all to do with that!!! :D

    Oh I say - ding dong ;).
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

IF jar account details sent off. I have to wait 10 days to put money in so have diaried that and worked out what's going where which is all on my spreadsheet. I'll pay a bulk amount into each jar to try and get myself ahead of the game ready for next year.

I've had 2 surveys in today which have pushed me into earning another £5 Amazon voucher. My Survey account currently holds enough points for £15 now. VO is still only £4. SuperPoints is at £5 too. Going to claim those in January when I need to be beyond organised to get used to the changes.

My new credit report came in today showing no changes so am going to need to pop into Santander again to get them to confirm that I've been removed from those accounts. I've had no letter from them so am assuming they've not actioned it yet. I don't mind too much as a bad credit report currently suits me. Less chance of ID fraud when you know anything they apply for would be laughed at anyway. But in my bid to clean things up I would like to start very fresh in 2013 which includes disconnecting everything from a difficult past.

I think I've also nailed this drinking enough water effort now too. Yesterday and today I've done much better so will keep that up and steadily improve.

So today feels productive. That's a good feeling.
  • Hi there, new to the forums and just came across this post. Was wondering what sites you use for surveys and things? I seem to have signed up to an awful lot lately but thought I'd best keep it down to just a few to use regularly. So which ones do you recommend?

Hope you enjoyed the film, I won't even bother looking for that in my area as dh doesn't like cinemas! I'll have to make do with a S**way instead x

I did enjoy the film, thank you. The ratings for it are that it's the best Bond film yet, but I didn't feel it was a typical Bond film. Enjoyable to watch though.
  • so glad you are starting to feel better :D i haven't been doing very well on the cutting down caffine yet (or the alcohol!!:o:o) but will get myself sorted soon....I have a 'do' at a friends at the weekend so intend to make next week the week that I get 2 litres of water down my neck every day, I'm going on to either nettle or green tea rather than lattes (which will cut my sugar intake down by about 2kg a week!!) and get back in control of my house...aargh!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

(oh, by the way, not convinced you were not influenced by the lushness of that tourist....methinks you lie!!!!:rotfl:)

I'm SO excited this morning as I've just paid another clear £1K off my mortgage. I'd also messed up my monthly spreadsheet which had budgeted to pay the mortgage interest twice so that second amount has been transferred to my savings account. :D

So, now I'm on a £60K mortgage. The temptation to pay another penny off to get it to the fifties is difficult, but waiting will make next month's payment so much more exciting for me as another full thousand drops off. greenstars.gif

The November NSD challenge starts today and based on my budgetting I'm going to start the month on a high there. I've nominated 15 days of NSD's but I'm going to try to do better than that this month - and next.

I went into Boots yesterday and they have a great few offers going on. The Gok Wan vanity bag with items was half price and good value for what you get. They also have the No.7 ranges at half price (£50). If you spend £50 in Boots at the moment they'll give you £12 worth of points on your card. I was so tempted but no longer buy on impulse so need more time to think about it. I do think the No.7 range will save me money next year though so am still considering it. It's on sale until next Tuesday apparently so there's plenty of time.

The Christmas budget has been put aside. I've paid it onto my Aqua card to push up my cashback. As I buy something I pay it straight off again so my credit limit on the card is constant. They probably approved me based on my lousy credit report and kicking themselves now as I've had it 4 months and paid no interest and have no intention of ever paying any!

Another blue sky crisp Autumnal day out there! Other than missing out on the first day of red cups, today is starting out pretty good!!! ;)
