I can now tick Christmas buying and preparations off my list. All decorations have been up a while, presents all bought and paid for with nothing on credit, and almost within budget! I sat and wrapped last night and have sent cards out this morning. Very late for me, but all should arrive on time so no problem there.

I attended a business coaching course on Friday to help me really formulate a plan. It was a very intense day but incredibly worthwhile. All the things I thought I had sorted were actually general "BS" that I felt I needed to say for things like bank accounts etc. So this helped me decide on what I really want this business to be and how to achieve it. I still need to put a little more thought into the steps to get there, but I now have a plan that's right for me and that's a massive help. The jumbled head mess was thrown away and now I have a path to follow!

I'm off on my holiday in 2 days! Removing 6 days from Christmas preparations has been very testing! But I should be all set to go on the day! I hope so as I'm getting a bit concerned with how much I still have to do! I'll be spending Christmas in Germany and I just don't have enough warm clothes for that time! So I'll be rushing out this evening to find a few items to tide me over for the week I'm away. Normally I'd love to buy new clothes, but these will just be bulky, cheap and rushed. Not to mention out of budget.:( Multi-functional is the word of the day!

I've made a decision to really go through some painful thinking while I'm away. I'm a real drifter in life and have felt for a while that things aren't how I want them to be. I then decide on something to change and then carry on as before!

From 1 January I'll only be working 3 days a week and I have no debts hanging over me or controlling me anymore and that's a fantastic position to be in and can hold massive opportunities if I allow it to. This focus has obviously come from the coaching course, but it's really made me think! I'm always going on about what I'm not happy with and what I want to change and now I feel I have a platform and formula for that. So I really want to look at some areas of my life and decide where I want it to be and then work out a plan to achieve that. I want solid written plans to focus on and to guide me along every step! It feels very liberating and exciting.:D

    Here's hoping it's a great pre-Christmas week for everyone!!!

Well that's Christmas and the New Year done and dusted. It's been a good one all round and I'm in a really good headspace right now. So good that I've put lots of plans together and this diary seems a bit too transitional to take me through, so at some point soon I shall start a new diary and add a link here.

    Phew!

I really hope everyone had a fantastic and frugal Christmas and New Year.

I wish everyone a wonderful and successful 2013.

    xx
  • Hi MT

Happy New Year, sorry its late. Glad to hear you had a good time though and you sound like you are in a really good place at the moment.

I have only just caught up with your thread so could you please send me the links of the crafting diaries. I have spent the last few days checking the trade prices that I have got and they are still in date.

Hope you are ok and will catch up with you soon.

    Take care.
