It wasn't meant to be - it was just a comment. I'm sick of seeing PC deals with 1GB or less of memory with Windows Vista Premium installed, when most commentators KNOW that this is insufficient to run this PC smoothly. Badly designed spec - I would rather see XP come with this.

Once bought a new computer with 1mb of ram (computer was about 1700 quid), went for a 4mb upgrade after some 9 months and managed to retain all limbs in the process  , had a gig of ram for about 3 years now, quality stuff, not cheapo, was nearly as much as the dell advertised here  not worth a carrot now, so that said, the Dell looks like a positive bargain:T

I'm not spending anymore on PC's until we have octagon core processors and a terabyte of ram is the norm ;)

Sorry, all the reviews I've seen said Aero struggles without a lot of ram, and you can't play any serious games with less than 2GB.

For general internet browsing and stuff, my 1GB of RAM works fine with aero... but I agree, for games you will need more.

I am thinking of getting one of these as the offer ends this Wednesday but not sure whether to go for a TV tuner or not.Could someone explain how they work in basic terms.I know i would need the analogue one and i was thinking of connecting it to my Virgin Media box(either the standard box or my V+ box not sure) but would i only be able to play what's being shown on the cable box on the PC or could i control that seperatly?
If it's you have to watch the same channles on the PC as what is being shown on the cabel box then i won't bother as it's not worth it:)

Also if i call Dell will they remove the mouse from the order as i don't need it(and the keyboard come to think of it) as i've got a wireless mouse and keyboard already and not paying £17 for a standard mouse.
