    That's exactly what I did in the end and good to know someone else agrees.

    I made three attempts to report buyer for negative feedback extortion, but eBay refused to act on it. I wasn't comfortable doing it this way, but it's either this or I keep my negative feedback which is also wrong.

    It doesn't leave me much confidence in eBay and my first choice is to buy from Amazon marketplace based on my experience.
