xx jo xx £20 sounds lots for electricity, but don't know how many of you there are. I pay £65 per month all in, we dont have gas and that includes storage heaters, which is half what you are paying and i think it will be less now, as the kids have flown. have you seen the £7 per week on meals for 2 people thread, there are some good suggestions. Good luck with it all. I would have reported the (fairweather) friend who did that, im sure they have security cameras where she spent some of it to prove it was her.0

Well I had quite a productive hour before lunch earlier, managed quite a bit off the lists. I have since been for a cuppa with a friend and now I'm just about to make a start on dinner. I will try to get more list stuff done whilst dinner is cooking.
amyloofoo - what kind of cake did you bake? I am just learning to bake and have so far mastered blueberry muffins and a victoria sandwich cake.
