iPhone 5 orange signal
Hi, is anyone else experiencing this? Ive had my phone since Wednesday and the signal isnt great at all. Majority of the time its in no service.
Ive done the network reset settings, taken the simcard out and reinserted etc, but still nothing.
Any help or advice would be great

May be it's the signal to blame, not the phone?0

See this is what I thought. Considering Ive moved from o2 and dont know what orange's signal is like, but someone who I work with is on orange and while I have no signal they have full.
Im hoping its just a bug in the software0 -
I work on a rota basis, so yeh i work Sundays too (lucky me -_-)
Well with them apparently having 98.something% network coverage and saying pretty much if you havent got signal its your phone whats the problem, thought I would be ok.
I asked my work colleague what their signal was earlier on while we was in the same place and theres was full and mine had none :S0 -
orange has gone naff, they dont tend to replace masts or fix when they breakDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I have an iPhone 5 on Orange, and I'm occasionally finding that it goes to "No Service", even when other Orange iPhones next to me have a strong signal. I have to do one of three things to make it connect again:
- Restart the phone
- Turn on aircraft mode for 30 seconds and then back off again
- Do a network search under Settings, Carrier, Automatic=off to find EE manually

Welcome to the merge of T-Mobile 2G signal into EE, even with 3G your calls will default to T 2G if its nearer than a old Orange 2G mast.
The 2G issue has been on 1 mast for 8 years near me, TMob solution "buy a 3G handset and lock to 3G" :eek:SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

Same as me on 3GS...I have an iPhone 5 on Orange, and I'm occasionally finding that it goes to "No Service", even when other Orange iPhones next to me have a strong signal. I have to do one of three things to make it connect again:- Restart the phone

Apple phones use cheap internal parts. the O/T-Mob signal share made the problem so bad I had to give up the 3GS.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe
