The price difference between an s3 and an iphone5 is huge, that's why a true moneysavingexpert would use a s3

The price difference is minimal - £450-£500 for the S3 compared to £529 for the iPhone 5. Hardly "huge".

If you have £500 to spend on a sim-free phone anyway then you will not think anything of an extra £30-£80 if it's the phone you want.

Actually brand new S3's are £400.

Depends which side of the fence you sit, an iFan will tell you it HAS to be an iAnything because "it just works" they know this because apple told 'em . . . .

And that's obviously your impartial opinion......

I can only compare iphone 4 running ios5 to the S3 and loading web pages took around 5 seconds longer on the iphone and apps on the S3 are noticeably quicker.

The S3 is a lot cheaper on contract than the iphone 5 for similar minutes and texts but the sim free price is only around £100 less.

You can't really compare an iPhone 4 with the S3. The iPhone 4 is over 2 years old compared to a few months for the S3.

Compare the iPhone 5 with the S3, or at a push the 4s on iOS6. There is not much between the iPhone 5 & S3 - really comes down to personal preference.

Loading web pages on your iPhone takes over 5 seconds? Why, what's wrong with it?

iPhone is superior to the S3 when it comes to connectivity; DC-HSPA+.
