Thankd to the TSV on QVC I will finally get to try the C & P along with loads of other goddies. :T:T But I need to wait as it will be my Christmas gift from my lovely mum (she just phoned me to let me know as she can't keep a secret! lol). I am over the moon.

Having a night in tonight, so will have a mini pamper session whilst stricty is on. Anyone else watching it?

  • Hi everyone!

I have no UU's to report (yet) but do have a couple of Ins.

The first three are items I forgot from my list (and I thought I was so thorough!)

    In:
    Boss Orange EDT
    Davidoff Cool Water EDT
Body shop honey and oat face mask
    Neom Inspiration Hand Cream 50ml

The final IN I did not pay for - I did a survey for Neom a couple of weeks ago and this morning arrived a hand cream and a handwritten note with a 15% off code to say thank you. It was so lovely and unexpected, I was very happy.

I have been resisting the urge to celebrate, as on Monday I finally qualified as a solicitor, after 6 years of persisting. I'm trying very very hard not to go on a spree, as I usually would :T

Congratulations, that's brilliant. Do you intend to specialise in any particular area?

I do, I've been working in my area for a while now, but I work in private client - wills, probate, mental capacity and specifically contentious probate :-)

    :jMorning everyone,
Does anyone knkow of a good sun cream for the face SPF30 + I use the avon ones (due to being on offer a lot of the time) but I would love something thats a bit matter and may help my makeup stay on for more than 2 hours!!!

    Have a good day:j

Motoko, No7 facial sun cream is brilliant, I have very sensitive skin but this one I haven't had a reaction with.

That's lovely Fiasco I hope you do enjoy using C&P and the other goodies when you get them. IBST is also a HG of mine. It's lovely to use.

I only saw a snippet of LE yesterday. I turned it on quickly just before we sat down to watch TV at about 5.00pm and they were talking about the fragrance so didn't see the TSV at all. We sat and watched the last few episodes of Touch last night. Did anyone else watch this? We've ended up watching the whole series in one go about 6 months later than everyone else but glad I did - not sure I would have stuck with it if I had watched it weekly. To me Kiefer seems to be acting like Jack Bauer still.

Congratulations on your qualification. It's good to see you are already working in a field you enjoy as well. Well done. I like Probate work as well although I'm in Residential conveyancing at the moment.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    Well done rogueylawyer.

    Well done tokkiandoliver.

Have some uu to report from yesterday:

No7 Microdermabrasion scrub - the one for arms and shoulders. WBA this makes skin very silky smooth.

Sanctuary Spa Warming Microdermabrasion scrub - Really nice scrub with a lovely smell, WBA but don't need to as I have 3 more tubes in the stash.

Phil Smith Xpanding thickening cream - WBA really like how this makes my hair feel, but again I have at least 3 more in the stash and a tube last ages as you only need a pea sized amount.
