  • I know what you mean, I've used up a couple of eye shadows and I've hit pan on a few more but I can't seem to use up blush or lip products! I never seem to be able to even make a dent in them!

Exactly. I even re-applied lippy and gloss twice today as part of my concerted effort!

On the mascara thing... I first read it and was like I've never had a mascara dry out on me. Then when the pumping/air mixing words of wisdom came... I realised it's because with my HG mascara (Lancome Hypnose) I can do all lashes in a one-er so reducing wand re-entry!!!

evilsquid1603 - the same thing happened to a figs & rouge balm that I had too, and after a very short time of owning it!

I have a UU and a non bought in to report :)

UU = Clarins extra comfort toning lotion (10mls) - WMBA when I've used my others up - this doesn't sting my very sensitive cheeks :)

Non bought in is a late birthday present from my mum - it's a Dr Renaud Azulene Fresh Calming Gel from M & S. First use is very encouraging as it is a pale blue gel that really calms and cools my cheeks when I apply it:D

ps. dolly84 - I bought a burnt orange Nissan Micra with all the bells and whistles:j

thank you everyone - i've binned my first eyeliner! was a Dior one i got with an xmas palette a while ago. was just useless! sadly my Neals Yard one looks like its going to be the same :(

also binned a figs and rouge balm, this went really odd and almost waxy like. i think i have another one somewhere - will have to dig it out and see if this has gone the same way!

    UU:
Dr Haushka toner, milk cleanser, cleansing cream, Day Cream, Rose day cream, Quince Day cream. WBA for all of it tbh - my skin seemed to like them.
clarins bronze eyeliner - was excellent, years old :o but still worked brilliantly. great staying power too! WBA.
    Origins Ginzing - HG
smashbox mini powder - WBA but tbh, no different to other powder's i've tried. onto a deluxe size i got of this in summer now.
bare minerals eye primer normal - new HG. this stuff is brill. keeps eye make up in place and i've even woke up after a long night with my eyeshadow still intact! (dont judge me! it was a one off and I was v surprised the eye make up survived!)
REN exfoliator - WBNA, i prefer the Liz Earle
REN day cream and night cream minis - WNBA there have now broken me out :(

    and.... drumroll....a perfume UU!

Valentino Rock and Rose - WBA.

also, GA a Jouer lipstick to my mum. i wasn't using it and she will.

I've had to bin two Figs and Rouge balms before, one was a geranium one and the other was mint. They formed a thick skin and started to smell odd, I had only had them a short while aswell. I have the rose balm by them and have had that open quite a few months and that one is fine.

I have a uu - Clinique All about eyes - rich - 5ml gwp size, this lasted ages and I did like it as I do the non rich version too. Have replaced it with a 5ml Dermalogica mulitvitamin power firm.

Mark Hill Volumising Blow Dry Mousse, 50ml - WBA really good mousse but it went all watery and horrible towards the end. Not sure what happened there!

Back again with some UUs to report - quite a haul as I have been really pressed for time this month and haven't posted as frequently as usual:

LE energizing shower gel - lovely stuff but still have a shower gel mountain to use up before buying any more

Boots No 7 Stay perfect eye shadow base - HG, really works, tend to stock up when I have a £5 off No 7 voucher

LE botanical shine shampoo - meh about the haircare range. Ok but no 'wow' factor for me I am afraid.

LE cleanse & polish 200ml - HG, would never be without this as it is one of the best cleansers I have ever used

S&G flakeaway - have stepped up my routine with body scrub - have noticed a difference on my upper arms. About to start a breakfast scrub one next.

Lavera all over cream - loved everything about this - the smell, the fact that you only need a small amount, the way it sank in. WBA once I need some body cream as I think the price was quite reasonable too (came in an Amarya box but I have checked the price)

Mark Hill volumising mousse - a departure from my Trevor S HG but have to admit that this did a pretty decent job so WBA if necessary.

LE superbalm concentrate 2ml - love this facial oil but have plenty of others to UU before buying more. Intend to buy this in the pump version when I need more.

Phew - that's it for now but at least my OUTs are greater than my INs so back into a minus figure for this month.
