Tiles on old plasterboard no one will take it

Have just finished new bathroom but we are left with 4 sheets of plasterboard covered in the old tiles, took it down the tip but they refused to take it unless we separate the tiles from the plasterboard, but the problem is that it is so difficult to separate and will make such a mess.We cannot even hire a skip as they wont accept it either, as anyone any ideas as to who will accept it? This all seems ridiculous to me and encourages fly tipping.

Smash it up with a hammer and put it in the wheelie bin, one lot this week another next week. So spreading it so that the bin isn't to heavy and other things on top.

Your local council tip will take it but you will have to put it through the trade section and pay to dispose

just abandon it in the bushes. You have done your best to do the right thing so now the council can pick it up from the roadside instead.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Break up inside a bag or old sheet (if possible) with a hammer and then either black bag and put in the general skip at the tip or add to wheelie bin over a few weeks.
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.

Don't do that, it is anti-social, and plain wrong.

I'm sure that was a bit tongue in cheek:A

Don't they a skip for hardcore, that would qualify.

The tips round here are all privately run for the council.
They can be great or they can be armsoles.
If they did that to me I would quietly drive round the site as you have to do here and drop the stuff off near the exit, sod the consequences.

As earlier these sites are to prevent fly tipping, can't see anyone being done for fly tipping within a utilities site:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

it should be straight forward to desperate the tiles from the board. prob 15 mins max per board and a brush and shovel will take care of the mess. don't see it as that difficult. stripped a full bathroom half in a morning.

Leave it outside in the rain for a day.
Plasterboard will disintegrate and the tiles will just fall off.
