I personally feel it is... as the apps are listed in $ in the UK version of the site whilst viewing it in the UK. The price is determined by the one displayed.
But this isn't true!
I have not yet seen a price in dollars without going out of my way to go to the US site. Maybe once you go to buy it may then show the price in dollars, but only AFTER I see the price in £.
I really don't understand the issue you have. I have never seen a price in $ on my BB device! Surely I'm not the only one! Maybe the issue is due to you changing locations so frequently? Your BB doesn't know what currency to display
