Virgin Media have wrongly disconnected me!!

FRUSTRATION!!!
Last week I contact Virginmedia as I had just acquired a new property and required the 60mb service, which was installed yesterday 0However my old property I was not moving out of fully until the end of October, so I clearly requested to have 2 services running simultaneously (60mb at my new property on a 12month contract and my current national service until the end of October 2012).
I clearly had the operator repeat what I required and he assured me that my national service would not get disconnected until the end of next month.
During the weekend I work from home while balancing family life and due to this ridiculous mix up which Virginmedia cannot sort out until Monday as their main departments are closed, I am having to pay to go into central London to my office to finish work that is due in tomorrow for review.
I am not sure if anyone else has been in a similar situation but what would they do in terms of complaint and compensation?
Many Thanks

Well you cant use the work one, as its a consumer line. I would expect a refund of rental for 1 month maxDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
