Just watching him now on his BBC morning show interviewing Ed Milliband.
I am never going to vote for Milliband even though I find him a decent bloke, and I think he is quite sharp, caring and he answers question quite well.
But Bloody Andrew Marr constantly talks over the people he is trying to interview, he never listens and while his guest is talking you can see him nervously aching to get the next question in, and when he does he interupts again.
I really would like to hear what Milliband has to say, I truely think he is an interlectual with a good mind..
Just shut the **** up Marr, and let him talk
Bring back David Frost on sunday morning

Funny, I'm watching the same interview and thought Marr was right to pin him down as he wasn't answering all the questions. The BBC is regularly accused of being pro-Labour. If he gives Milleband a thorough grilling that can only be a good thing. He'd certainly do the same to Cameron.
I do agree re Frost though. He's a great interviewer. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I agree, but once he has been asked a question I then want to hear him answer it. Milliband is talking and all you can hear over him on every question is Marr "em, er yeah, mmmm, but"
There was one particular bit where Milliband was explaining about how consistant and true to himself he is compared to Cameron, I was finding that quite interesting and true, but again Marr just spoilt the answer.
There is no way I am voting for Milliband and more to the point Balls, but I do want to hear what he has to say.0 -

Let me guess, you want to vote for The BNP but don't like the stigma around them, so you settle for UKIP.

Milliband did a fair job today...certainly didn't let Marr get the better of him...
He was right to hold back Marr on every question...answers need more than a brief sentence...and Milliband did just that...
Not that it'll make a big difference whos in power...but he did drop some hints on future taxes...pay restraint...budget cuts..0 -
Well it seems that Miliband is talking more sense than the coalition on banking reform. Retail & investment banks DO need to be split.0

What do they say about getting old when the Police start to look younger. Is it the same with Politicians. Give it a couple of years and Ed will grow into the job i'm sure, remember how fresh faced Bambi was when we first saw him.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Agree with you Wookster, but it's far worse when people are not being interviewed one-to-one and other people chip in. You hear absolutely nothing. This is why the 'sound bite' mentality has come in. Strangely enough, the opposite is the case within Parliament where MPs drone on and on. Interviewers should facilitate discussions so that everyone can make their point. (I'm also sick of having my point "understood" in private conversations, where people chip in with replies).
So yes, thank you, Wookster, and I hope interviewers take note.
I actually like Andrew Neill as I think he does listen more than most, but also will chip in when off-point topics are being made.0 -

Amirite?
For crying out loud!!
Just for this one peacfeul relaxing sunday morning give it a rest.
This is not even on the topic of housing, why do you have to put a damper on every single thread, even one like this that is just a little bit of sunday morning banter.
Look Julie, I know you have strong views on Immigration because of your situation, but this topic is not even relevant to your enbittered views.
I would never vote BNP in a million years, I hate the party and all they stand for, but of course that is not what you want to hear is it.
Nearly everyone of you posts since you re joined after being banned or just given up on your last username(which is fine) have been on the topic of me or GD, you have not made one single post contributing anything to the discussion of property, 99% of your posts are personal rants. Nearly all my posts are property related without a mention of other posters(except occasionally giving a little return lip) by the way, even if they are all totally b****x
I am so sorry that you are might be in a financial mess because of the present state of the property market, and I can also see why estate agents like Wotsthat might be feeling very angry and lashing out, but why don't you guys just talk about your money problems on here rather than take it out on strangers you know nothing about except the message they give that you hate.
It's a lovely sunday out there, take a day off from your anger:)0 -

I also quite like the very underrated Peter Allen, he is one of a rare breed of jouralists with bags of integrity who is a great listener who when needs to be can take control of an interview and be quite firm without raising his voice or taking over the interview.0
