For my sins, I support Stoke City

On 'match day' you can get the 'preamble' on t'internet, but as soon as they kick off, the commentary is *only* available on FM

The 'copyright' doesn't allow broadcasting of the game on the web and the other local team is on DAB

    :(

Does the live player not work for the whole match then?
I'd have a word with Nick Hancock if they don't :D

The Stoke City ground has only one meaning to me, turn next right on the A500 and we are heading for North Wales!

I listen to radio an the internet via my computer and apart from crashes when someone updates software its great. Audio manager can adjust the separate volumes so the game sounds don't interfere with it.

If an internet radio cost £100 more than a standard DAB radio the above discussion might be worth having.

As it is under £100 buy a nice internet + DAB radio that can sit in a steamy kitchen with sticky fingered kids around, and be switched on by gran.

    No brainer really.

what kind of phones have you got? I use tune in radio on my android phone and have a set of speakers in the kitchen for when it needs more volume! Might be worth trying it out via a free app to see if you can get the stations you require and how ofter you use it before spending 90 odd quid on a specific device

As others have said one of the Pure models will cover all the bases. I am in a similar position in that I need to replace my main portable radio.

It's an old Roberts LW/MW/FM bought when FM was new. It still works but there are DAB stations I like that I can't get plus some internet stations that i really like but can only listen to via the PC.

I wanted another Roberts, on the basis that the current one has worked for decades, so have decided on the Roberts iStream which does FM/DAB and internet radio via a connection to my wireless network.

My son bought me an AirStream 10 as a birthday present. Works admirably.

Sorry I am prevented from posting a link!!
