Parking Changes for landowners from 1st Ost

But as I have said most councils have taken over parking, and I don't think the police would be to interested in this in truth, though you might find someone who could issue a FPN. As for closing car parks with barrier etc that is covered as well, you must display a sign mentioning the fact that the gate/barrier will be closed at say 6pm, and I think you can make a reasonable charge for releaseExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
You could put a sign up saying "Free Parking for Customers, All Others Pay £50 Per Hour".Je suis Charlie.0

No need to clamp to date. It seems that generally a "Private Parking - Customers only" sign works with only a handful of people ignoring this notice.
So I don't see why you think things have changed?
In fact from October 1st you actually have more options because Police and Local Authorities are having an extension to their powers in that they can from tomorrow, remove a car from private land at the request of the (proven) landowner/leaseholder.
However, I can't see them rushing to provide this service and I have to admit I haven't looked into how that will work and who will foot the bill up front. That may be something to ask your local Council though so you know where you stand (can't see the Police having time to get involved without other aggravating circs).
Basically, from your own point of view, you can't clamp and you can't block in as they will be illegal acts...unless you 'accidentally' park in front of a rogue car or accidentally pile a load of pallets/boxes/pile of sand there or summat!! You could nip rogue parkers efforts in the bud just with a bit of imagination so you are making their life hard 'accidentally'...they wouldn't come back again if it took you 2 hours before the pallets/boxes/sand could be safely removed.
What about those small parking posts, is there enough room for a customer to stop temporarily near the space and come into your reception/premises for access to be given? We have found those locakable posts before online for landowners and they are about fifty quid I think (much less than you'd pay for a secure door to your indoor premises).
And make sure your signs are clear and polite, such as 'these spaces are reserved for customers of xxxx only, thankyou for your custom'.
No need for threats and no need to waste your staff's time with Flashpark (if you can't have staff policing the area - understandably - then you can't have them wasting their time taking photos & spending time registering details in order to line Flashpark's coffers).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
