Evening all
I'm still awake despite the early start :rotfl:.
Been food shopping and filled car up with petrol. Tidied house, hoovered, put away laundry mountain, unpacked case, made lunch for tomorrow, dyed hair, put recycling out.
Just chilling on sofa now with a Baileys hot chocolate. It's quite chilly here, but have resisted putting the heating on, at least I'll have got to October without using it!

Mmmm Baileys Hot Chocolate sounds yummy FB
I am in a real quandry with my clothes. I have nothing wintry that fits as all my clothes from last year are too big.
I have been buying lots of summer bits for the holiday at Christmas but some are still a bit too small.
So my wardrobe is full of summer stuff but of course nothing matches so have a few nice tops and a few pairs of linen pants with no kind of theme! Capsule wardrobe ha that's a laugh.
I have been upstairs twice today and pulled everything out, tried some bits on and put it all back again:eek: and as for bras don't get me started, all too big. I'm giving up for today my brains aching will think about it tomorrow.Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Evening all,
Welcome TTFTM
Happy birthday Master Bitsy.
JackiO hope that the aches lessen soon.
Can't remember who was making C cakes but well done you! Have had a problem for the last few years as none of my offspring eat much cake of any kind, certainly not fruit cake or C pudding....think that I will just make small ones for OH and me, even though the whole gang will be here for the holiday....OMIGOD I don't want to think about it!
Kitchen electrics all sorted yesterday, so I am now safe again, if €500 poorer, but you can't take chances with electricity.
Misty, cool day here, it did brighten for a couple of hours in the afternoon so was able to throw Mossy out for a run....he is becoming the laziest dog I know. Dinner was roast beef bought on offer (nothing like the offers you seem to get in UK), corn on the cob, swede, onions, mushrooms and baked potatoes....really enjoyed it.
Have had to stop crochet again as b***dy rash is up again, did a bit of knitting this afternoon as it doesn't seem to have such a reaction but am sick of it as I have not got time to stop the blanket machine between now and Christmas....grrrr.
Keep out of the dark and cold, sleep well

T'was me Meanmarie - but I only make a small one for me & DH otherwise he eats it all! I make them for my 3 brothers & FiL as xmas pressies, plus I've made a bigger one for almost-SiL's 40th later this month. I only make puddings every 2 years because it's too complicated to halve the recipe I use!
I did do some ironing - 3 shirts for DH! :T:rotfl:
Am now half-watching the golf whilst playing on Facebook... off to bed soon though.0 -
just nipping in to say
Happy Birthday to master bitsy beans, hope he had a lovely day.
Got back at 9.15pm this evening after spending 5 hours travelling south. Went to a friends wedding yesterday, was lovely. She looked beautiful. the sun shone, although it was very windy and the venue was on top of a hill. DH drove back today, most of it through rain.
Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care0
