    Hi everyone

Starting off with ebay sales of £64.69 (after paypal fees but before ebay ones - how do you see what they are?) Planning to relist all the 99p things on Thursday this week, and will root around to see if I can find anymore to get listed by then. Sometimes Im never sure if they are worth listing but the extra pennies come in handy to offset when I miscalculate postage on other items :D

I kept meaning to go to boot sales but Im taking it that the seasons pretty much over? Oh well, by next spring Ill be able to drive a car there to sell my stuff from..roll on Oct 25th. :) (Oh how I envy your car Nat!)

Hiya, I haven't been around the boards for a long, long, long, long time but really need to start doing these challenges again. I'm going to try £10 a day for October (again!) so will be a total of 310 - that should help out a bit!!!

oooh off the starting blocks at least...

    £ 5 Halifax thingy and
    £3 lemon fresh research,

I'm nearly up to £20 quid on dooyoo, and am awaiting collection of £3 book sales today from facebook.

I'm a bit gutted as the £500 grant money gets sent to the uni and then forwarded on to me so I haven't actually got it yet - and the finance people at uni apparently hate having to deal with it so I may have counted it prematurely but I'm not going to double count it....

Hi, newbie alert. Have been following all your achievements with amazement, so decided to be brave and join in. Could you put me down for £5 a day, decided to start small. Only snag is I hate ebaying with a passion and never seem to make any money worth talking about. Any tips from you canny ebayers?

I also find it to be a pain - but batch photograph, and then batch list works for me.... I let myself have a treat after say 10 listings, and the just relist when they don't sell... try to sell like after like so you can use the same listing and just change a few details - but make sure they are changed or you could get in a pickle....

it's been horrid on some occasions only making 30p profit after postage and packaging but frankly it all adds up...

(also having got rid of a load of clutter has made it more worth while)... One pair of shoes had been sat waiting for 5 years or so to get listed....

Second, use your kitchen scales to weigh Ebay items, make sure you allow for packaging, which sometimes adds more than you think it will, and use the Royal Mail website http://www.royalmail.com/delivery/business-delivery-options-uk/second-class-mail/prices to work out how much it will cost to send, to make sure you don't underestimate yourself.

And yeah - add the Bingo winnings [/QUOTE]

Thanks! My mum always used to say that when anyone fell over!

I do weigh my items and check on royal mail but somehow it always ends up costing more! Hopefully I'll be a bit nearer the mark this time!

Bingo winnings have gone to the debt busting fund!

Well it's been a while since I was on this but I need to get back in the habit! I am going to sign up for the £5 a day to start with :) I think primarily money will be made by either making crafty things from my stash, selling stuff from round the house that is gathering dust or from beauty treatments (massage and waxing) but I will need to take out cost of materials for that :) With a little luck I should make the £10 a day but £5 would be achievable and give me a boost!
