I bring my loose change (bagged!) to the post office. They cant give me notes for it (!), but can lodge it into my account for me.

Today was the day I called to organise starting a JSA claim (forms to be here by start of next week) and ending my tax credits. Ill still be childminding until Halloween at a measly 4-8 hours a week, after which Ill not be needed as the kids will be in school fulltime.

Organising my finances for the month (I consider myself to be pretty on top of them) has not felt as lovely as it usually does when Im forecasting a full wage even though I knew this day was coming. But Ive had a wee cry and now Im thinking, hey - its just another challenge, right?! <tightens belt another notch>

Will continue to apply for any jobs remotely suitable and hopefully being a fully licenced driver by end of the month will help me look a little further afield for a job.

Sorry to hear you are having a tough day. A wee cry hurts at the time but hopefully does us good. Keep going you will get there my dear.

Well my eBay stuff is paid for and sent! I made £25.46 after postage and I got that just about right!

So that's £49.46/£100 for the month. Going to do some more eBay stuff maybe Thursday or Sunday but to finish on a Sunday evening. Trying to think of ways to make other money. Don't think there's any overtime at work at the moment.

Need to do some more surveys but never seem to get time to sit down and do them!

one of my banks Halifax will only accept 5 bags a day but one of the Lloyd's branches in my local town will take as many as you want them to apparently... I only found out when I took in my last 6 bags though...

I found 5p, and have 'sold' a gig on fiverr for $4 (US) does anyone know if they ever actually pay out, and when it hits paypal will it convert to £'s Stirling so I know how much I made????

I believe that if it is a building society they will only accept 5 but banks accept any amount of bags.

Thanks sweetpea (incidently, thats my pet name for my daughter!)

I feel a but better now. While its unlikely, I think, there is a glimmer of hope that I might get a call tomorrow for an interview on Thursday...its an ideal job for me, but since applications closed yesterday at 2 I figured they would call the potentials today. Oh well.... its a charity so I might volunteer with them anyway and keep an eye out for other opportunities.


In the meantime, Im reading minimalist blogs in order to inspire me to declutter further (and sell it all on the bay or similar!)

Its the 'Reloaded' drink. Tesco have an offer of 'buy 4 for £6 but if you use four coupons you end up getting money off your shopping.
