You shouldnt pour any bleach or any other fluids its not a foul drain its a RAIN WATER drain the clue is in the name ;)
As stated before remove the bottle gulley there normally 300mm or so deep
A drain jetter will have to make a hole/ break into the gulley to be able to try and jet it
At least i lf you remove it you wont have a broken gulley

The tile adhesive wont be easy to break up and no chance of getting at with a brush through the gulley/trap

Sorry rxbren but that is incorrect information. As I've mentioned already on this thread, it is perfectly possible to jet through a bottle gully with a quarter inch mini bore jetting hose. My colleague and I had a shout to attend a domestic customers property on our way back to our yard this afternoon. Customer had two blocked gullies running to soakaway. Both gullies old clayware and almost armpit depth to the swan necks! Both lines were jetted approx. 5metres down to soakaway, traps cleaned out and running free with no damage to the gullies within half an hour of us arriving on site!

Agreed that chemicals / bleach etc should not be used in this scenario and are highly unlikely to be effective anyway. :)
