I signed up for BT infinity after being told by BT that the waiting time was about a week. I went ahead on 21/9/12 and was miffed to be given 12/10/12 for the engineers visit. I spoke to 2 bt people and was promised call back twice but no one called. Now looking online the visit is down for 18/10/12. I can't wait that long for Internet access. Had I not been told 7 days initially I would have gone with sky.
As a new customer I'm not impressed with the service so far. I've been lied to and had broken promises.
Can you help me please with the installation date? My phone went live on 27/09/12.

I don't think that going with Sky would make any difference, as it would be the same BT OR engineer setting up the service. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Is this a new line provision or an upgrade? 3 weeks for the former is hardly unusual. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Hi Glassannie,
I can appreciate you want the connection as quickly as possible and I know that the missed call backs haven't helped matters but it is likely that you have been given the earliest possible date. I'll be happy to double check this for you though and help anyway I can.
Could you drop me an email please?
Cheers
Craig
