Morning all,
didnt sleep at all well last night and i'd love a good moan but i'll spare you. I feel miserable, old and unloved but i am trying not to dwell on it and failing miserably.
Todays plans are:
Bank
Grocery shopping
Need to get my son some more jeans whilst they are still on offer
Sort out an eye test for my son to see if he has colour defective vision.
Dont know if i am going to get them all fit in today but i'll try. Pork chops for tea (I must say i cooked the steak beautifully last night).

Morning All
Bright, sunny and cool this morning and as I only had one load of clothes washing it is done and on the line. My beddingis in the machine and just on final rinse so I will get the kidlets to strip their beds when they get up and all that can go on the line. That is another job done.
Other than that I want to reorganise the front room when DH gets home from work. DD has her room to sort and DS can do the same .
We are all going out for dinner tonight for our 25th celebrationthat we put on hold in the week so no cooking here today
So I will raise my glass to you Bitsy chink
Have a lovely weekend everyone and Essex I hope that you get the vat returns done quickly xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Good morning everyone :hello:
I've been MIA again. Maybe I should admit that I'm just a sporadic poster... I am nursing a thumping headache this morning, which is NOT self-inflicted (more is the pity!). Hopefully a trip to see my "boys", the Leicester Tigers, will shift it.
We've been working our way through the freezer with our batches of chilli con carne, bolognese and chicken curry (and other dishes, which I won't bore you with). So much so, that we've got to have a big batch cook again at some point in the very near future.
After seeing my "boys" this afternoon, we're going to help clear my grandmother's house. She's eventually gone into a home having attacked her carers with knitting needles and telling my mum that she needs to get a divorce from my dad so that she (grandma) can have her "little boy" (66) all to herself! Anyway, there are many crystal glasses which we need to sift through. She was a bit of a magpie and my mother has already found 4 more tea services which we didn't know about already. My mum had liberated a couple of tea services a few years ago...
I suppose I'd better get dressed if I'm going to do anything constructive this morning!
Have a good day everyone :j :j

Morning all
Hugs to those in need especially PP & Molly.
Hubby's been dropped at work, I've been to Mr T's & spent almost £50, mind you that included a toaster as mine went bang last week.
I have chicken wings, chilli & macaroni cheese all cooking at the moment.
I need to give the bathroom a good scrup & hang another load of washing on the line.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

morning all!
off to work later. Have been and taken DS to work - he's doing overtime to save up so he can move in to his own place with his GF. I then had my eyes tested and ordered 2 pairs of reading glasses(bogof:money:):)
DH has done the housework - swept the floors, made the bed and washed up plus hung the washing out so hopefully this means he is slowly on the mend:)
Am taking a HM veg curry to work for tea, DH is picking something from the freezer.
Donny - good luck with the ironing mountain;)
Bitsy - hope the party goes well x
(((hugs))) to hilstep and LW - hope you're feeling better today x
I popped into Ald*is while out and got some cheap veg for making soup - leek and potato for lunch I think:)
Have a great weekend all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning all,
Cold here, but bright and sunny, wm is on the first of 3 loads, will hang it all out today, tomorrow its supposed to be raining again.
Sistercas, spoil your dd while she is home xx (can you give me your butter curry recipe ? )
thankyou x HERE'S the recipe i use , the only difference is i add an onion0 -
Morning all,
Breezy here so first load about to go on the line. Couple more lots to do yet.
House cleaned and need to pick up a couple of bits from Mr T,s and the rest of the day will be chillin in front of the golf and Man U. Love days like this when there is lots of sport, I know I'm weird, grew up with three brothers and have three boys myself, it was either learn to love sport or go mad:eek:
Will make a chilli this afternoon, the lads want chips but I shall have a small portion of rice. Tea at db was lovely, gorgeous roast dinner but they had bought us all individual cream cakes and just couldn't say no as they had made a trip especially so have to be extra careful with my diet for the rest of the week:o
Have bought quite a few bits off eBay for my hols and another couple of items from Eff but desperately need some new bras, will have to go and get fitted. I have been 36 DD for forever but definitely smaller now.
Thanks for the recipe SS will definitely make that this week.
Saw a perfect job yesterday so spent the morning applying, fingers crossed I will get an interview.
Have a good day all J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

butterflybrain happy belated 25th
bitsy have fun tonight!
rr hope dd's interview went well
Saturday is my wind down day after another week of the commute from hell. I'm close to moving into a guardianship (love how someone called me closed minded about this a few weeks ago when i was actively looking for one...) so that will be the end of 15 hour days and gigantic eye bags. Work is going to get really busy soon and I would rather not be commuting for that.
I haven't got a lot planned for today other than sleeping, washing and a bubble bath with some soap and bubble bars i'm making a test batch of tonight - if they go well i'll make some for xmas hampers.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Adelight - excuse my ignorance but what's a guardianship?* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *
