thanks all for your help, she seems much better today and is much more back to her normal self out enjoying the sunshine. she seems to be getting her voice back a little, and it is much more of a meow than a croak now! thankfully no vet trip required!!
never thought of looking on the back of cat food tin, i'll def remember that for future use!
