Self-employed & mobile phone contracts

Hi fellow MSErs,
My current Orange contract is just about to expire, & I have found 2 great online deals with Talkmobile via mobiles.co.uk & onestopphoneshop.co.uk.
Both however, request employment details on the online ordering form, which they use for a credit-check. The last time I changed my phone contract was when I was an employee, but for just over 2 years now, I have been self-employed.
Does anyone out there know whether either or any of the online mobile phone shops have an issue with people that are self-employed?
For the record, I've been in my current property for 6 1/2 years, & with my bank for 17 years, & I know both of these count towards the credit-rating as well. In addition to this, the phone is used for personal as well as for my business.
Thanks in advance...

Many SE people have contracts and loans etc, as long as you have accounts up to date, not sure why it would be a problem, you will only know by trying. Some high risk candidates if they are honest with themselves already know they are dodgy and may well default etc.0
