Just waiting for the ppl to come and collect then really should do some housework
Also forgot to put that last week I got my youngest son's main xmas present - he wants a tv for his bedroom and they had one in the supermarket for £89 which had dvd and freeview build in but with my discount and saved up £20 in vouchers (OH uses alot of petrol for work) only paid £60.10 think that is bargain for a main present :T

Morning all
Just been moving abit of money around and taking that I still have £50 for Nov and £50 for Dec to put in the pot I now only have to find £15 to reach my £700 target :j very happy at the moment about this.
I am now trying to find more thing laying around that I no longer need or want then will put them on FB to make cash in hand - I WILL MAKE MY TARGET!! Going to wait till the kids are back at school next week then will be raiding the attic I know there are bits and bobs up there to go but the kids arguing every 30 seconds I would be up and down the ladder more time then in the attic:mad:
how sad I am - I am so looking forward to parting with the money and making that first OP
This MF bug has well and truly bitten me on the bottom

Evening All
Just been explaining to the OH that we have only £15 to reach our £700 target and he was a little shocked that in a short amount of time we have nearly done it, he then said has there is still 2 months left in the year lets up the target to £800 and from Jan 2013 lets up the £1000 target to a £2000 target
OH is now fully on board and this has got him thinking about how much we can save and how quick we can become MF love being able to talk to him about it and the amount of years we COULD knock off the mortgage, going to play with the OP calculator to find out what our end date could be with the new target amount

Its addictive. Plus making money can be a family affair, my kids have definitely developed the ebay habit. I am quite happy to encourage it as its makes them appreciate that it is actually worth the effort to care for things and then recycle.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... excellent news getting oh on board!! :T
must admit, although my dh was very happy with what we were doing, his enthusiasm wasn't in the same league as mine....now that we have the offset and he can see the difference every time we make a payment (rather than waiting 12 months for the statement) he is as mfw as I am!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: It really helps...nothing as frustrating as trying to do it on your own while battling other peoples indifference!!

Hi All
Feels like forever that I came to post on my diary
Really not much to report on the money front, boiler still not fixed so having to wait in AGAIN tomorrow for BG  this will be the 5th time in 3 weeks and the thing is they don't know what the problem is!!
I'm just now fed up with only having half my rads working and everytime we put the heating on or use hot water the pressure goes in the boiler
Had a couple of spend outs as mother in law had a fall and needed a hip replacement, she don't live near us so OH has been driving over 5 times this week and she didn't have anything with her for hospital so we had to get her items for her stay, but happy to say the op went well and OH is picking her up as I type to take her home.
Went to a free fireworks display on saturday - youngest loved it, eldest - "I'm bored" that kids can't please both of them at the same time
Did find the time after work yesterday to make use of the free listing weekend just hope I sell some things
Was told at work that the overtime they had next weekend I can't have now so a bit pi**ed off about that, but do have something to look forward to
Going to see Evanescence in concert on Thursday night:j:j I so can't wait!!
and after complaining about a meal me and OH had a few weeks ago the company have now sent us a letter with a £25 voucher for another meal :T great has our meal and drinks only came to £15 :rotfl: so will be using that on Friday when kids at school
well think thats all for now folks
have a great evening, I'm off to put little man to bed that put Supernatural dvd on and do some cross stitching
