Use some paragraphs for goodness sake, have you tried reading your own post???

I think you are being completely unrealistic expecting all the doors and plinths being replaced just because one was damaged. Have you tried washing the others??
  • you wont get anywhere with this.

If this was illegal, every car knock or scrape would warrant a full respray.

They fixed the item reasonable. You cant compensate for what didnt happen and you cant expect them to replace the whole thing

Is this going to be one of those threads where someone asks for help and advice and people think that it's okay to take the mick and be rude? They call that cyber bullying don't they?
Sorry about the paragraphs or lack of, I got a bit carried away. I take your point that it was hard to read and I have amended it.

Apples, there is absoloutely no need for you to be rude, and whether you intended it or not you've caused offence. My house is spotless thank you. Reading through your past posts you seem to have upset people before with your unique brand of sarcasm. Maybe I'm being too sensitive but please lay of I'm not really in the mood.

As far as I'm concerned the units are now fine. It is not the unit doors and plinths that I am talking about but the fridge freezer.

My post was like an epic and not written correctly so I'm not surprised it was dificult to understand.
    Sorry!
B & Q suggested changing the freezer door I did not ask them to, they said that they wanted to put things right. Like I've said in the post. Up until now they have been more than reasonable. My issue now is that they said that they will sort it out they have all of a sudden disappeared.
I just want them to do what they said they would.

TBeckett the kitchen unit was replaced and I am happy with that. B&Q were worried that as it was new it might stick out as the other doors may have discloured, which is natural. They suggested that if this was the case they would replace all the unit doors to match. I told them that it wasn't necessary as everything was okay. If I was after compo I could have gone to town. They also offered to re - tile the floor because it was damaged when the unit came of the wall. I said no as it would not be necessary.

I am happy with my fridge freezer (apart from the damaged caused by their poor work manship) and don't really care how they remedy things I just want them to do it. By the time they door all the repairs it would be cheaper and easier for them to replace it with like for like. This was atheir contractors suggestion by the way.

The kitchen is covered by a 5 year workmanship gaurantee.

All I am asking is if any one has any contact details of higher management or directors please, if any one knows them?
    Sorry for going on

You have got a semi point. But it is poor customer service really.

Forget emailing Send Pic and write a letter both to store and head office.
Both address should be available off there website. I suspect if you tried to take it to court though that you wouldn't win.

Thanks Steve. I don't want to go down the court route, as all I want is the fridge sorting. I'll send in the video and pictures. Cheers.

Also - maybe it is worth giving them chance to reply - give a reasonable time, so - "If I haven't received a satisfactory response by Monday, I shall consider further legal action".
You said that you have been e-mailing them for the last two weeks and now they are ignoring you - to be honest, I probably would too! That is verging on harassment if it is every day!

Whilst I appreciate that you want your problem sorted - surely the most important part is that the cupboards are now fitted on the walls safely? The fact that there is discolouring on the appliances is an annoyance rather than a safety issue.

Who are you e-mailing when you e-mail them? Possibly, if someone higher up has taken over your case, then e-mailing the general address will do you no good, as they can't respond if someone else has taken your case?

I don't actually know what is happening at B&Q - I am just guessing at what might be going on.

Personally, I would write a letter instead of an e-mail and outline what you want and when you want it done by.

    Good Luck!
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??

Thanks Dizzie, I've been emailing the manager that has been dealing with the case. I haven't been doing it every day honest lol. Your right it would be harrassment, fortunately I haven't got enough time on my hands to be that obssessive no matter how much I want it all sorted. I emailed them twice over the past two weeks.

The person who I emailed is the manager of the installations dept.

I am happy that the unit is now sorted but they wanted to sort the fridge freezer and I want them to complete what they finished.

I'll give them till the end of the week and write to them as you suggest and also email the addy that Tbeckett gave me.

I have just written a three page letter of complaint to B&Q - which I hope will prompt someone in authority into action -although from reading other comments, I'm not overly sure...!!

Next time you write - make it clear that it is a job that they have said they will do, and they haven't completed it - it's not a new demand for work to be done.

Keep us updated - I hope it gets fixed before Christmas!!
