IVA completed and Capital one trying to chase there debt after completion
My Wife finished her IVA 4th September 2011
Capital one keep sending us letters for the out standing amount on the debt to them.
Through various collection agencies of there own First being CapQuest back in January 2012 Balance being £1396.43.
Then Credit Solutions 4th September 2012 balance being £1262.39.
Then Today a card saying they will visit on wednesday between 9-9:30 am from a company called Power 2 Contact Ltd.
I am fed up of these Jokers keep chasing us what can we do.
The debt was included in our IVA.
The very first time they contacted us, I contacted my IP who got in contact with them and I was told to send them a copy of the Debt claimed in the IVA and our completion certificate.
This is what we did Cap Quest reply was we are sending the debt back to our client.
We then heard nothing until September 4th, which is then when Credit solutions sent us a letter.
My wife then phoned them and explained that the debt was included in our IVA and copies of the debt and completion certificate was sent to Capquest, All details of our IVA and IVA company including case Numbers where given to them.
The man I spoke to on the phone said there was no record of our IVA on the Insolvency Register.
My reply was well there won't be it's been completed and 6 yrs now so would of dropped off.
His reply was I know that Doh why ask me then.
These people are so annoying and seem to be just chancing it I think.
Credit solutions then said they would put a dispute in to Capital one.
Today we received the card saying they will visit on Wednesday (not which Wednesday I must say)
Do I reply to there card or just ignore them as we are getting fed up with explaining the same thing over and over to these clowns.
On Capital one's proof of debt it is £1749.88 so do you think they may be trying to get there short fall from the IVA dividends.
Sorry for the long post.
Some advice from any IP's on this Forum would be great or anybody that knows how to deal with these annoying people.
Thanks in advance.

I'd be inclined to write a standard letter outlining your circumstances and making it clear that you are now released from debts included in your IVA and consequently any attempts to collect these will be regarded as harassment and will be dealt with appropriately. You can then hand a copy along with a copy of your completion certificate to Wednesdays caller before slamming the door in his face and reply to any further harassment with the same letter.0
