Selling iPhone 4 with a cracked screen
I have just bought an iPhone 5 and I want to sell an iPhone 4 which has a cracked screen but is otherwise in full working order. It will cost £80 to get a new screen fitted in a shop - most of this is labour because it takes quite a while.
Any thoughts on whether it is better to get the screen replaced and then sell it on ebay, send it off to be "recycled" as it is, or fix the screen on the cheap and send it off to be "recycled"?

To be honest, you'll be able to sell it on eBay easily with the cracked screen. That won't deter many people.0

sfax- As above or do get it fixed and get a bit more
£80 is a bit steep though ... I fix mobiles etc and generally do iPhone 4 screens for around the £50 mark0 -

Thanks, I've got quotes from a couple of places in central London at around £80 but I might shop around. I've watched the youtube video on replacing it and reckon I could get the new screen on but may not be able to put it back together after!0 -
If you're not good with all this, I would suggest you don't yourself - I do around 40-50 iPhone 4 repairs a week and I would say around 20 of them are missing screws or wrong screws in the wrong holes because people have tried themselves0
