You could just stay at home in the dry/warm.0

Do not under any circumstances use a gas stove or any kind of barbeque in a tent. I lost a very good friend to carbon monoxide poisoning. It just isn't worth the risk.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

Gas ones are out because security won't let you (and they are a bad idea because of CO as the poster above said). The electric ones need a hook up which you won't have. You can get mini oil radiators online - never tried them and would be relatively heavy (and may not be permitted on site).
You really don't need one though. I've camped in snow in the middle of winter, as as long as you have a proper sleeping bag, you are fine. Get one of these (http://www.mountainwarehouse.com/camping/sleeping-bags/3-4-season-sleeping-bags/everest-down-sleeping-bag-p2758.aspx?cl=RED). I've got one and it's really toasty in the winter.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -
Years ago working in the wilds in Canada we were in heavy large 10 man tents. To heat them the flue from an oil burner went down the middle with a wooden guard rail a foot from it. Our feet toasted and heads froze!
We also had dustbins full of water and to heat it an oil tank dripped oil down a pipe immersed in the water with a flue, tricky to get going but worked well.0 -
the best tip I can offer for comfy camping is to get some insulation between you and the cold cold ground.
I now use an inflatable mattress and an old double quilt. Always toasty warm and much easier to get out of for an emergency early hours pee.
