Bah I've laddered one of my fave pairs of thermals are there any offers on for ladies long johns anywhere? For extra lanky legs please
*I do plan to salvage this pair still but a girl can never have enough layers in this weather*
I'm currently wearing some "footless tights with super cosy lining" £3.99 from primarni. I'm a 33" inside leg and the l/xl are good and come right to my ankles. They are very warm, I've been out in biting wind this morning with these and a denim skirt over, with my gilet and scarf and gloves and can honestly say my arms were the only place I felt the wind. I'm well pleased with them. Although they felt a bit snugg to start with I do feel very comfy in them now.Bossymoo

thanks to everyones suggestion about the primark fleece lined tights, i got my daughter a pair yesterday when we went to pick up a few essentials. they'll be great for our annual visit to the edinburgh christmas village and also on the long journey to grans house for christmas, inevitibly we get stuck in one of the 3 trains stations we go through for a long while between trains0

thanks cake for answering what was going to be a primark price questioN!
I went in Sheffield primark today, all wrapped up in woolly roll neck, felt wool coat, leggings jeans and fleece lined boots and INSTANTLY regretted it! The place was boiling hot, what seemed like thousands of ppl ambling around in bizarre directions as if they were in a zoo and no leggings to be seen! I tried the hosiery and the underwear dept but managed a sum total of 5min hunting. now i know how cheap they are I will definitely brave it again, but can anyone tell me what section to find them in so I can make a beeline! Thanks loads x0 -

I found the fleece lined tights (no footless ones in mine) in the hosiery section, and the thermal leggings (which I don't rate) and the other thermal underwear were hidden amongst the pyjamas.
The tights/leggings are in black cardboard with SUPER COSY in red type on the pack. They were hard to spot though as the tights section is all a bit higgledy piggledy in mine!0 -
In our local one the thick tights were all hung on a rack in the middle of the ladies clothing, whereas the rest of the hosiery was upstairs near the shoes... I wouldn't have found them without asking.Bossymoo

thanks
Loving all of the winter tights help. I always go for the tights/skirts option in the winter (skirts don't need as much washing as trousers, less washing with tights) Easy to slip on boots, room for nice warm socks, can add a layer of leggings if extra chilly. Tights just work for me in these months - on the look out for woolly/fleecy/warmer ones now. Thanks0 -
