Preparing for winter IV

1st frost of the year with us in Cardiff. Went out to the car at 7.10 and had to set about clearing it before I could head off! Was glad I'd left my car bag in the boot all year, deicer & scrapers at the ready! Would not have been happy if I'd had to venture into the shed to find them but it did remind me I need to go through the bag & check what's in it & what needs replacing.
Was -1 when I got in the car, very chilly!! Got a couple of days off this week so will finish up the last if my prep & check my tin cupboard incase anything needs topping up.0 -
My car is iced up too! We're not going anywhere till later, and, I vacced the car last weekend and refreshed the bootbag so we are good to go for tomorrow.
I'll be finishing all my prep jobs this week I think...Bossymoo

Does anyone know where I can get cheap thick curtains? The curtains in my (rented) house are basically so thin they're see through. I feel like I'm pouring money out my windows even trying to heat my house.Sealed Pot Challenge #239

Quite a few people on here line theirs with fleece material. I'm thinking of doing the same to some of mine but dont quite know how to do it as never done it before!:oDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
