are you using a liquid food colour? try using a gel/paste instead, you get much better colours and dont use half as much0

we have a little shop here that sells cake making things, or if you have a 'range' shop near you i know they sell it there too. I got a funny feeling ive seen it in tesco too....but im not 100% on that0
