    They don't seem able to keep up. Their web site still shows it as available here, though if you try to look at the details linked at the bottom of here, you then get the terms for their previous fix, so I don't know on what basis folk can have signed up. :think:

  • I have been a Scottish Power customer for many years and saw an offer in Sep 2010 to fix my energy costs until Jan 2014 on the proviso that I took out their 'boiler cover' at a cost of £120 per year, which was only slightly more than I was paying a local 'Corgi' engineer to carry out the same maintenance. When I checked last week after the latest round of rises, I have saved just over 20% in both gas and electricity price hikes!! :)
