Too late, I was alerted by someone pointing me in the direction of Martin's tweet over an hour ago and posted a thread here:

Blink and you miss it.
Does anyone know why January 2014 and March 2014 had only two weeks shelf life?
Were they too heavily subscribed?
Well done to all the people who got November 2013 and January 2014. Even without cashback, they were cracking deals.0 -
I appreciate all the nagging from this site and Martins TV show, just went on energyhelpline and switched to this deal. It says I will save £76 a year but as he said on the TV the bigger savings will come when my old non-fixed tariff goes up.
Thanks for the nagging!0 -

Oh my, you do realise that EHL by default, gives the results based on you doing nothing (i.e. includes effects of what happens when your old fixed tariff goes up, assuming it does expire within the next few months).
There is an option that then allows you to see the savings based on what you currently pay (i.e. ignoring the effects of the fixed deal ending soon).
If your £76 annual saving was not based on this optional way of looking at figures you won't save any more, (and if it does, the annual savings you should expect were shown on the pre-option page)
Not all comparison sites show both style of costings, but EHL does.
But an annual £75 saving is still a good saving not to be sniffed at.
... and you may still save even more if as yet unannounced price increases later affect the cost of the tariff you would be on if you do nothing.0 -
I`ve just changed to Scottish Power - did it online was too easy! hope I have done it right. I have never changed providers before and piddled about a few weeks ago when EDF one was about so missed out.0

I was trying to make sense of Scottish Power's web site yesterday, as my OES15 expires soon. I looked at the details for the Fixed Price March 2014, but the link to actual tariffs took me to the Jan 2014 figures. I don't think they can keep up.
I emailed them about this, but it now looks like my question is academic.
What I did notice about this "fixed" tariff was that, whilst there is no exit penalty, their terms state:You can end your agreement(s) by switching supplier at any time without having to pay any cancellation charges. The agreement(s) can also be ended by us by giving you 28 calendar days’ prior notice in writing; or if you move house.0 -
I just managed to secure this tariff as my current tariff ended today so couldn't do it any earlier due to a £60 fee. Really glad I still tried to get it but had to go direct so missed out on the added cash from the comparison site.0

October 1st.
Waiting for the barrage of:
"I want to fix, but they are all so expensive........" Posts.
Cupboards are bare, darlings.
I nominate Online Fix January 2014 as the sexiest tariff for Winter 2012 Tariffs Illustrated Catalogue.0 -

Oh thats a pity, I presume you couldn't go via a comparison site because the tariffs had been withdrawn from them, you could have gone via a normal cashback site like Topcashback straight to the Scottish Power site and signed up directly as you did. Currently paying £42.42 cashback for a dual fuel switch to Scottish Power.
Sorry to bring bad news!European for 3 weeks in August, the rest of the year only British and proud.0
