No, just wasn't sure if it was urgent or not. Second garage said it would be fine to drive still.

Its what we're here for. I advise for nothing, I also receive advice for nothing, it's why the forum is generally enjoyable
Taxis have to be kept in immaculate condition, which is why I mention what I said. My current taxi is a '53' Mondeo, which has to have a London style test every 6 months, so whilst the garage is probably one of the cheapest, get the name of the driver and give this to them, as doing this got me a free tyre when it needed 2 on it a few months back
